Workshops held by me, and my band of merry creatives!
Upcoming workshops:
Paint your own Plant - Beginners Watercolour Workshop
Next date: Saturday, July 30th
Discover the basics of watercolour, as you mix some paint, try out some techniques and leave with a special portrait of your very own plant.
~This is not a botanical illustration class - my style is much more relaxed and will allow you to have fun, play and capture your plant in a modern illustrative style.
Perfect for anyone wanting to try out watercolours, create some personal art for their home or looking for a fun and creative way to spend some time.
Absolute Beginner Watercolours
Next date: Term 2, 2022
Run by the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House, this class operates via my little studio space at Barkly Square.
Each week, we tackle a new project or watercolour technique, allowing you to build your skills over the term.
Please note this class runs with the school terms and is coordinated by the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House so if you have any questions, please reach out to the team there.
Saturday Drop In Classes
Coming soon!
Come and paint, draw, colour and be creative on a Saturday morning at my boutique!
You’ll receive access to my workshop supplies including paper, paint, brushes, pencils, erasers and more, and have the freedom to create your own watercolour artwork (with a little guidance from me!) without having to invest hundreds of dollars for supplies.
Wool with Steph
Classes ongoing in knitting, crochet and spinning.
Steph crochets and knits as part of her radical homemaking skill repertoire as well as an extension of her art practice. She is involved with the Ballarat Spinners and Weavers where she works with raw wool to spin her own yarn.
You can find her works at FEAR art space in Bridge Street Mall under the label “The Wool Milliner."
Stephs goal is to encourage the people of Ballarat and surrounds to knit, crochet and spin wool! Let Steph inspire you to create beautiful, warm and practical items that you have created in 'slow fashion' time with your heart and hands.
Steph offers group classes, one on one sessions, or you can book you for your next party (hens, baby showers, etc)! Get in touch to learn more.
